A Class Act
(Online Challenge)

 

Do you have art pieces from previous workshops that are languishing in your studio? And you may not be motivated to finish them because they
cannot be entered into a show? Here’s your chance to showcase your creations inspired by skills gained in classes. This is a web-based, unjuried show.

  • You may submit up to 3 entries.
  • Submit one overall JPEG photo for each entry. Label the photo with the name of the piece.
  • Include your name and a brief artist statement and description of materials and techniques used. You may include the name of the teacher for the workshop.

 

Important Dates:

    • April 27, 2024 – online entry opens (see link below)
    • May 24, 2024 – entry deadline
    • Mid-June 2024 – notification and posting of entries on-line

Please join this fun, lively artistic group of 150+ members. Our monthly meetings feature international, national or local speakers. Only members are eligible to participate in our dynamic workshops and excellent juried exhibitions. Membership dues are $35 a year and membership runs for 12 months. Dues are $25 a year for Student Members, available for those enrolled in a course of study.  Membership in FRCQ includes all meetings, a high-quality monthly online newsletter, and eligibility to register for workshops. Visitors are welcome to the monthly meetings for a $10.00 fee.

Time: Monday meeting social time begins at 6:30pm, meetings start at 7:00pm; Saturday meeting social time begins at 9:30, meetings start at 10:00am.
