About Heather: 

Heather Pregger loves to experiment with color, line, and shape in constructing geometric and free form compositions. Her work is pieced and machine quilted, using both hand-dyed and commercial fabrics. Individual blocks are arranged and layered, the design developing with the changing interplay of colors and shapes. The emerging color/shape combinations constantly suggest new directions to pursue.

 
Heather’s resume includes solo exhibitions and invitational exhibits as well as exhibiting at Quilt National, Quilt Con, the International Quilt Festival, Sacred Threads, American Quilters Society, a number of SAQA  exhibitions, and many regional exhibits.

Please join this fun, lively artistic group of 250+ members. Our monthly meetings feature international, national or local speakers. Only members are eligible to participate in our dynamic workshops and excellent juried exhibitions. Membership dues are $35 a year and membership runs per calendar year. Dues are $25 a year for Student Members, available for those enrolled in a course of study.  (Please choose membership type above the palpay button).  Membership in FRCQ includes all meetings, a high-quality monthly online newsletter, and eligibility to register for workshops. Visitors are welcome to the monthly meetings for a $10.00 fee.

Dates: Every third Monday or Saturday, January through November.
Location: Boy Scouts of America, 10455 W 6th Ave #100, Lakewood, CO 80215
Time: Monday meeting social time begins at 6:30pm, meetings start at 7:00pm; Saturday meeting social time begins at 9:30, meetings start at 10:00am.
